Description
Camikara 3 Year Old comes from Piccadily Distilleries in Haryana, India, the team behind Indri whisky. It's made from 100% sugarcane juice rather than molasses, then aged for three years in ex bourbon casks. On the nose you get butterscotch, honey, oak and a pinch of sea salt.
The palate is dry and oily, with vanilla, leather and a hint of smoke. It's a great pick for anyone curious about Indian rum, and the glass in the box means they can get stuck in straight away. Pour it neat over one big ice cube.
