Made from six row barley (as opposed to two row) and from fresh glacial water. Launched in 1970 it is now wholly owned by Bacardi Brown Forman. The colourful character of Markku Raittenen has been Master Distiller for Finlandia for some 17 years, steering the vodka along a premium path. Indeed each batch of Finlandia must get his taste test before it can be sold on.
