An utter treat. The extra ageing and superb grape selection have created a delicate Rose showing subtle red fruit, whether that be Strawberry or Raspberry amongst others. Not a Champagne you will come across often so this will undoubtedly surprise many.

Description

Gosset has a quite remarkable dynasty being able to trace their wine making as far back as 1584 making Gosset the oldest Champagne House. Their original wines were still and mostly red but by the end of the 17th Century they were undoubtedly starting to produce the sparkling wines that we know today (albeit very different in taste!). Their Champagnes are also presented in the beautifully distinctive ‘Antique’ bottles which is a replica of the bottles used towards the end of the 18th Century.

Tasting notes

Delicate with lovely red fruits. A blend of 59% Chardonnay and 41% Pinot Noir. An Extra Brut Champagne meaning there is less sugar involved when creating this delicious wine.
