James E. Pepper 1776 Rye Whiskey, 70 cl
£52.89

James E. Pepper 1776 Rye Whiskey, 70 cl
A rye whiskey bottled under the reinvigorated James E Pepper label. James's grandfather has a claim to having opened the first Kentucky Distillery in 1776, but the James Pepper brand really hit its height in the early part of the 20th century, although it had disappeared by the latter parts. It's now back with this bourbon-esque, fruity rye whiskey.

Description
Established in 1780, during the American Revolution, the Pepper family brand is the oldest brand of whiskey made in Kentucky. The brand was fondly called Old '1776', by its scion, the Colonel James E. Pepper. The award-winning 1776 label was launched in 2012 in partnership with other distilleries to revive the old brand and has since gone on to much acclaim in the world of whiskey.
