Pittyvaich's entire life as a distillery lasted only 18 years, which means this whisky has outlived its own namesake. Bottled after 29 years for Diageo's Special Releases in 2019, this was double matured in PX and Oloroso seasoned casks. Limited to only 5568 bottles.
Tasting notes
Dry, warm and mouth-filling, very smooth, more sultanas on the palate, a little toffee, followed by a hint of black tea. With water, a little more delicate now, more toffee notes.
