Has a yellow colour with golden glints & a crystal-like brilliance. Fine bubbles that rise in a airy, long-lasting line. The wine smells delicate & fresh. Excellent as an aperitif or perfect with delicate dishes such as pan-fried scallops or sole meunire.

Description

Ruinart is the oldest Champagne house which started selling bottles of Champagne from 1729. Prior to that the family's business was really cotton, but as they began to provide customers free bottles of Champagne as a 'thank you' the demand for their fizz quickly meant that their attentions were soon fully on Champagne rather than the business of old. Today the cellars are beautiful and a World Heritage site in their own right
