Ron Abuelo 12 Year Old Rum is deep amber in colour. Complex nose with scents of fruit cake, allspice, nutmeg, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and roasted nuts. The palate echoes the nose delivering layers of baked fruits, caramel, brown baking spices and spicy dry oak.

Description
on Abuelo (literally "Grandfather's" rum in Spanish) is distilled from fermented molasses at the family owned Varela Hermanos distillery in Panama. Aged in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels for a minimum of 12 years.
