Wildcat Gin has been named in honour of an infamous character, a certain Captain Dudley Bradstreet who lived through the mid 18th Century. During this time Gin had been outlawed due to overconsumption throughout the UK. Dudley set about avoiding this ban by hanging black cats outside rooms in London where, with the correct know and password, a generous measure of the infamous spirit could be purchased.
