Dom Pérignon P3 1983 Champagne, 75 cl
£1,100.00
The 'P' stands for Plenitude - with each Plenitude being a release of a particular Dom Perignon Vintage. Being 'P3' this is the 3rd time that the 1983 has been released and , as such, will be its last. As you can expect each release is in increasingly smaller quantities and so we have only a very small number of bottles available. For fans of refined Champagne this is an absolute treat. 1983 was an excellent year and the Champagne does not disappoint with its fabulous structure and attack giving way to a powerfully aromatic finish.

Description
What can you say? Some may be cynical of some of the glamour and glitz that surrounds Dom Perignon. However Richard Geoffroy, Dom Perignon's Head Wine Maker, is simply superb at his game. Just about every vintage is awaited with bated breath by the wine industry and accolades for both him and his Champagnes are far too numerous to mention. The Champagne is names after a Benedictine monk who was one of the first to embark on creating Sparkling Wines by blending different grapes together and is romantically thought to have said 'I am seeing stars' when he first encountered his new sparkling wine.
